My teenage daughter, Sarah, and I are headed to London in a few days. My husband, Robert, and my son, Alex, have decided to relax and stay put during the spring break so it’s a girls-only trip to see the preparations before the Royal Wedding.
You know me. I like to pack a lot in a trip. So we’ve been planning what we’re going to see including Kensington Palace, the British Music Experience, the Tower of London, the London Eye, and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. We’ll let you know what we thought about these and other attractions.
Sarah has a gluten allergy so, beyond figuring out how to get around the city and finding good travel deals, we really have to make sure that we’re accessible to restaurants that provide gluten-free meals.
I contacted the London Tourist office with my concern, and I was given a great website that not only provided us with a list and reviews of gluten-free restaurants in London, but it also mentions other groups of restaurants such as “celebrity spotting restaurants”, “cheap buffets in London”, and even “belly dancing restaurants”
