NYC’s Grand Central: Brooks Brothers Retrospective and Foodie Possibilities

As many of us already know, most of the Amtrak trains that are traveling from the Albany-Rensselaer train station to New York City have been rerouted from Penn Station to Grand Central Terminal until on or about September 4th. Click HERE to read my previous piece about this.

And, if you have some extra time before boarding the train (many times at or near Track 24), consider checking out Brooks Brothers: 200 Years of American Style.”   Located in Grand Central’s Vanderbilt Hall, this interesting free exhibit has some nice bits of information about the history of this iconic fashion brand.

Brook Brothers costumes designed for “The Great Gatsby”

Included are various forms of memorabilia such as photos of the original four Brooks brothers as well as some of the costumes designed by this company for the 2013 movie, The Great Gatsby.

Of course, if you have even more time, think about going to the refreshingly air conditioned Grand Central Market.

Yummmm. Let us know where you eat at Grand Central!
