I’ve visited one of her selections: the Church of San Rafael in Zarcero, Costa Rica. Ms. Hirsch is absolutely right about these particular gardens because they are incredible. So much in fact that, as our guide told us, Disney unsuccessfully tried to snatch up its creator, Evangelista Blanco Brenes.
