If you’ve read some of my posts, you probably know two things about me:
1. I am usually a Type A vacationer who likes to squeeze every drop out of her travel experiences and
2. I love, love, love NYC.
So you can imagine how thrilled I was to be asked to try out The New York Pass which provides discounts and entrance into 80 attractions in the city’s five boroughs.
When I received the package in the mail, I eagerly opened it up to find a book with two durable cards, each the size and thickness of a credit card.
I liked the book for a variety of reasons including:
Size and weight: The book was small and light enough to easily carry around in my bag.
Organization: With eighty attractions to see within a set period of time, it’s frankly not logical to assume that you’ll be able to experience everything that the passes have to offer. So to best take advantage of this promotion, you need to create some sort of plan of action. The book’s great organization really helped in deciding where to go. As you can see, its broken down and color coded by attractions and services.

Once you decide on a particular attraction or tour, the corresponding page provides opening hours, maps and directions.
After reviewing our options including museums, tours, gardens and even cruise rides, my 18 year-old daughter and I created our list of places to go and things to see. And then, like kids in a candy store that spanned hundreds of square miles, we set out to have the time of our lives.
Next: The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and so much more.
