Today marks the 20th anniversary of the premiere of the eternally popular series “Friends.” In honor of that occasion, Warner Bros. Entertainment and Eight O’Clock Coffee have joined together to create a great little pop up replica of the televison show’s Central Perk.

Located at 199 Lafayette Street in Manhattan, this place is filled with lots of memorabilia including the original orange couch that I was told someone had offered to buy for $10,000.00. Open until October 18th, admission is free.
Costumes from the show,
a wedding ring, and even the a box of Smelly Cat kitty litter are on view.
You can also get free coffee, buy fun merchandise, and get your picture taken on the couch but the lines can be long so try to get there early. The first day pop up Central Perk opened, there were over 1,000 visitors and many more had to be turned away over two hours before closing time.
Enjoy while it lasts!
