The weather was great in Manhattan last Sunday, and  I had a nice time at the Daytop Madison Avenue Festival in Manhattan. This event started at 11 a.m., and, as I made my way down this avenue from East 55th street to East 42nd Streets, there were some interesting crafts and food including watches and sunglasses said to be designed by students attending FIT and Parsons.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After this, I walked a few blocks down to watch the colorful New York India Day Parade which started at Madison and East 38th Street and ended at the same avenue on East 27th Street.

Great time in a small pocket of this city.
