I just received a nice new product, the Clutchette Power from Chic Buds. It’s a light fashion clutch that has a built-in charger for smart phones and USB devices on-the-go.   It can be used separately , but I tried it out by carrying my IPhone and charging cord inside of it so I could find them more easily in my bigger handbag.

Last week I put it to the test and, not in some far off destination, but my own home. I walked in to my house at the end of the day to find out that my whole block had a power outage. My IPhone was pretty drained, and I obviously couldn’t charge it there.

I plugged one end of  my charging cord into my phone and the other end into the  built-in USB cord in the Clutchette Power. It worked!

The one I received is black and referred to as Emma, but I’ve been told that it’s available in three other metallic colors: Jaqueline (pink), Taylor (silver), and Rae (rose gold). Clutchette Power is selling for $49.99 and can be purchased online at Chicbuds.com.
