The day after arriving in St. Kitts, my group and I had a full day of exploring this island.

After I filled up on the breakfast buffet at St. Kitts Marriott we departed to first visit an organic Rasta farm overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then it was on to the colorful capitol city of Basseterre where we toured the island’s culture by exploring various historic landmarks including the Treasury Building, St. George’s Anglican Church and Independence Square.

 

During the trip, I could see that it was a tradition for drivers to proudly display a personal nickname on their vans.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How to complete the day like a Kittian? We had dinner at the nearby Shiggidy Shack,a local haunt, where we experienced good food and better entertainment.
