Looking for something special to do during your next trip to San Francisco?
Check out Beach Blanket Babylon: My brother and I were happy to be invited to experience this very funny, nonstop musical revue filled with satirical skits and over-the-top costumes . Founded in 1974 by Steve Silver, it is now located in the North Beach part of the city.
This year’s performances centered around Snow White meeting pop and political figures while traveling the world to find her Prince Charming.
Note: You must be 21 or older to attend an evening performance.

Looking for a tour of San Francisco? There are numerous offerings, and my brother and I took a four hour night tour that Urban Safari invited us to experience. Along with a group of vacationing Australians, we rode a zebra patterned open van through various places across the city and over the Golden Gate Bridge.

My thanks to Laurie Armstrong of San Francisco Travel for all of her help and advice.
