My son, Alex, and I had a great time together at a Parent-Teen course at the Culinary Institute of America earlier this month.

This year the CIA’s Hyde Park campus scheduled 43 different Enthusiast classes, with a total of 174 chances to take a great cooking course.

I’ve been told that there will be more of a focus on these types of one-day courses because the school has decided to postpone the scheduling of the longer culinary boot camps until the Fall of 2013.
