Last Friday and Saturday, celebrity stylist Brad Goreski appeared in Manhattan’s meatpacking district to promote the launch of the Chic Squad. The Chic Squad is said to offer advice on what to sell and how to sell on eBay, helping style lovers free up closet space and earn extra cash to fund new fashion finds.
Mr. Goreski promoted this endeavor at the Selling Style Studio, an interactive pop-up experience giving people a personalized opportunity to learn how to sell. Attendees are invited to bring a top selling item – like new or gently worn handbags, shoes, sunglasses, denim and dresses – to script, shoot, price and list. A member of the Chic Squad was on hand to share expert selling advice and help attendees cash in on their fashion.
Simplified Selling Experience
eBay says that its new, simplified selling experience features enhanced functionality that enables users to sell in just four simple steps:
- SCRIPT: Fill in the information about what you’re selling.
- SHOOT: Snap a photo of your item.
- PRICE: Set your price and select a shipping option.
- LIST: List your item.
While the the tour kicked off in New York, it will travel to Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco and more. Here are some of the known dates and locations:
