American Museum Of Natural History Exhibit: The Brain

Image in the exhibit’s section involving “emotions and their evolution”

My family and I took the train down to Manhattan a couple of weekends ago and saw the American Museum of Natural History’s exhibit on the ” Brain-The Inside Story”. The show started by having us walk through sparkling representations of the neurons located in each of our brains.

We later saw a mini movie of how the different parts of a young dancer’s brain helped her before and during her audition. Throught the rest of this comprehensive show, we walked through sections that included ones concerning our evolving emotions, how we learn languages, and how the 21st century technologies might alter our brains.

We also enjoyed playing the brain games that were offered.
