The New York Times reported that travelers are going to have to do more digging to find airline deals online. American Airlines dumped Orbitz. com last month and Delta withdrew its fares from Cheapo Air.com., OneTravel.com and Bookit.com.
The article, entitled, “Navigating the Airfare Maze Online Gets Tougher” provides many tips such as starting with ITA software which helps by narrowing down the cheapest days for people to fly. Michelle Higgins also recommends that you search sitres like Kayak.com, Fly.com or Farecompare.com which search hundreds of travel sites at once but don’t actually sell the tickets.
Michelle also recommends that we use Momondo.com for trips to Europe and Bing.com to evaluate prices by using the site’s Price Predictor.
