Has anybody been to the new Limelight Marketplace? Located in the Chelsea section of Manhattan on 656 Avenue of the Americas (20th Street), this collection of stores exists in what used to be the Church of the Holy Communion.

One of the church’s High Episcopal parishioners at the time was Cornelius Vanderbilt.  In the 1980’s it became Limelight, a famous nightclub.

My take on it? Its a novel idea to a put a mini mall in a place with a cathedral ceiling  and lancet windows, but I wasn’t overly impressed with what was offered.
