Am I the only one that yearns for some decent dining at the airports that we are often stuck in for hours on end?
Whole Living had an interesting article about airport dining. Entitled “Gateside Gourmet,” it lists a variety of restaurants at some of our country’s airports that the magazine’s writers wouldn’t mind dining at.
Some of the eateries?
Chicago O’Hare International Airport-Rick Bayless’s Tortas Fronteras at Terminal 1 and 3
JFK–French Meadow Bakery & Cafe at Terminal 2
Hatsfield International Airport in Atlanta–One Flew South which offers a pulled duck sandwich with relish made from toasted Georgia peanuts at Terminal E
Please let us know if you’ve found a decent airport restaurant. I like Firewood at the San Francisco International Airport.

Kim,
The Rick Bayless restaurants are not open yet. There is healthy and fine dining at Wicker Park Seafood and Sushi Bar (Terminal 2 near the Butch O’Hare plane exhibit), which opened this month.
Thank you for your interest in Chicago’s airports.
