Degustibus,the cooking school located in Manhattan’s Macy’s Herald Square  is offering a course on how to be a Coffee Aficionado that will be taught by taste expert, journalist and author David Rosengarten along with illy’s Master Barista, Giorgio Milos from Trieste, Italy.

The course will provide education and instruction on coffee history and preparation. It will also show you how to have some fun making coffee cocktails like Espresso Mojito, Miami Vice and NY Minute.

I enjoyed the course that I had taken at Degustibus a little while ago that was given by David Chang of Momofuko Noodle Bar. It wasn’t hands-on, but I was able to learn from the techniques that David taught, I received a lot of great recipes, and I was served delicious food prepared by this James Beard Award winner.

I also like the location because I could jump on the train at Penn Station or get to a bus relatively quickly.
