Check out the house tour that the New York Junior League will be holding on May 1, 2010. Click here for more information.
Registration begins at 10:00 am that day at the NYJL’s magnificent brownstone that was once owned by the Astor’s.
The event costs $85.00 and gains you access to about ten beautiful homes across Manhattan, a buffet lunch, a cocktail reception and a silent auction. The organization provides you with a detailed map to find the homes and, when you arrive at your destination, there will be several league members who will provide you with information about the place.
I’ve always had a great time at these tours, but in all honesty, I’ve found it difficult to get to all of the homes during the five and a half hour time period.
