My kids loved going to SeaWorld in San Diego over the February break. The place was much less crowded than I expected because the children there didn’t have a winter vacation. I guess they don’t need to get away from all of that sunshine!
Remember, when you’re going anywhere, to always ask if there’s a AAA discount, and SeaWorld did have one.

This SeaWorld is smaller than its sister in Orlando, Florida, but it still has a lot of great attractions including the Journey to Atlantis ride which, because of the place’s low attendance, Sarah and Alex could ride over and over again.
I would have loved to have tried out some of their more unusual attractions like getting into a wetsuit and interacting with the whales, but it was just too expensive- around $400 for the kids and me. I couldn’t bargain a discount with the powers that be there like I did in SeaWorld in Orlando.
Plus, I was told that the water is maintained all year round at about 54 degrees and some people, even with the wet suits, are too uncomfortable to stay in for more than five minutes.
We had more than enough things to do there, though, including finally seeing something that I’ve really missed at home-flowers.

We went there too a few years back. We only spent about half a day there, but we enjoyed it. My favorite part was the Clydesdale’s. Then we went to Tijuana for a short while. I would say that city is an armpit (and that is being kind!)

We didn’t get a chance to see the horses. Thanks for your comment.
